2. App Functionality & Architecture

NDplayer is a high-performance multimedia player and downloader designed for Android devices. Its principal functions include:

• Local Media Playback: Scanning and playing video files stored locally on your device's internal storage or external SD card.
• Network Stream Playback: Playing online video streams (such as HTTP, HTTPS, HLS .m3u8, and DASH .mpd playlists) from URLs manually provided by the user.
• Media Downloading: Downloading media files from user-specified direct links or streaming manifests directly to the device's local storage for offline viewing.
• Playback Management: Remembering local resume positions, audio track selections, subtitle preferences, and playback speeds locally on your device.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

To provide full transparency, we explicitly declare that Crazy Innovation does not collect, process, or store:

• Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Names, physical home/work addresses, telephone numbers, or government identification numbers.
• Account or Login Credentials: The App contains no user registration, login screens, or cloud synchronization accounts.
• Financial & Payment Data: Credit/debit card numbers, bank account details, or payment billing information.
• Sensitive Device Sensors: Audio from microphones, images from cameras, GPS precise location data, contacts, calendar entries, or biometric records.
• Private Media Content: The titles, thumbnails, or contents of your local video files never leave your device.

4. Data Collected by Third-Party SDKs

While Crazy Innovation does not maintain developer servers to harvest user data, the App integrates trusted third-party software development kits (SDKs) provided by Google to deliver advertisements and manage user consent.

These third-party SDKs may automatically collect certain device and interaction data as described below:

Note on Future Third-Party Services: If we integrate any additional third-party analytics, crash reporting, or monetization services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be promptly updated, and users will be notified through the Google Play Store update notes or in-app notices where required.

5. Android Device Permissions & Purpose

NDplayer requests only the minimum set of permissions necessary to deliver core media playback, stream downloading, and ad rendering. We never use permissions for unauthorized background tracking.

6. Google AdMob & Advertising Disclosures

NDplayer is an ad-supported application. We integrate the official Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve advertisements across non-intrusive app surfaces.

6.1 Ad Formats Implemented

• Anchored Adaptive Banners: Small banner advertisements displayed at the bottom of the main navigation screens.
• App Open Ads: Full-screen advertisements that may display briefly when the application is opened or returned to from the background (subject to strict cooldown limits).
• Interstitial Ads: Full-screen static or video ads shown only at natural content transition boundaries (e.g., after completing a video session or committing a download task).
• Native Ads: Formatted ad cards styled consistently with the media library list.

6.3 Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads

• Personalized Ads: When permitted by your consent and device settings, Google AdMob uses your Google Advertising ID and demographic or interest-based signals to deliver ads relevant to you.
• Non-Personalized Ads (NPA): If you deny consent via our consent dialog or disable personalized ads in your Android device settings, the App requests non-personalized ads (configured via npa=1). Non-personalized ads still use contextual signals (such as app content, coarse IP location, and device type) for frequency capping and fraud detection, but do not use an advertising profile.

7. User Consent & Regional Privacy Frameworks

7.1 European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland (GDPR & UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the processing of your personal data by third-party advertising partners is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

8. Managing, Opting Out, & Deleting Your Data

You have full control over your device data, permissions, and advertising identifiers:

8.1 Resetting or Deleting your Google Advertising ID

You can reset or completely delete your Advertising ID from your Android device at any time:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Navigate to Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads).
3. Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

8.2 Google My Ad Center & Personalization Controls

You can customize or turn off personalized advertising across Google services and partner apps by visiting Google's centralized control center at:

8.3 Clearing Local Application Data

All media preferences, playback bookmarks, and downloaded content are stored locally. You can instantly delete all local application data by:

1. Opening device Settings > Apps > NDplayer.
2. Selecting Storage & cache > Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
3. Or by uninstalling the application from your device.

8.4 Revoking App Permissions

You can revoke granted storage or notification permissions at any time via Settings > Apps > NDplayer > Permissions. Note that revoking storage permissions will prevent the App from indexing or playing local video files.

9. Data Security & Technical Safeguards

We implement robust industry-standard technical security practices:

• Encryption in Transit: All network communications with third-party ad providers (Google AdMob) and user stream lookups use modern Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS) encryption.
• Sandboxed Local Storage: Application configuration and internal state files are stored in private Android app storage protected by Android operating system sandboxing.
• No Cloud Exposure: Because we do not operate a remote user database, there is no risk of cloud database breaches exposing your personal videos, credentials, or identity.

10. Children's Privacy

NDplayer is designed and intended for a general audience (individuals aged 13 and older, or 16 and older in jurisdictions with higher age thresholds).

The App is not directed toward children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal data from children under 13 (or under the applicable age of consent under COPPA or GDPR).

Because NDplayer is published worldwide, third-party services like Google AdMob may process advertising and diagnostic information on servers located outside of your home country (including in the United States and other global data centers). Google complies with applicable legal frameworks regarding international data transfers (such as standard contractual clauses).
